บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย :

The Computer progression is increasing in higher and higher ratio. Computer is brought in school more and more in order to develop teaching and learning. Therefore, the need of the highest capable program for computer assisted instruction is also increasing. The purpose of this study was to compare the achievements between the learning method of cooperative groups and competitive groups by using the computer assisted instruction. The sample consisted of 48 Mathayomsuksa 5 students of Kaennakhon Witthayalai School in Changwat Khonkaen, the second semester of the 1991 academic year by stratified random sampling and randomly assigned into 8 competitive groups of 3 students and 8 cooperative groups of 3 students. Students in each group learned program for computer assisted instruction on physics about gas elements and kinetics theory. All students in both sampling groups attended the same class but the learning result was differentiated to be : the competitive groups were individually received their learning result and the cooperative groups were received their learning result as the groups result. The data were analysed by application of pooled variance t-test. The result of this study was significant difference between physics achievement of competition groups learning style and cooperation groups learning style at .05 level. The physics achievement of competition groups learning style was higher than cooperation groups learning style. Thus, the development of program for computer assisted instruction should be studied the learning together method of students more than one person per one computer hardware. The competitive group characteristics are to encourage the continuing interest in lesson of individual student.
